Your First Visit

We know a person’s first visit to a church can be intimidating, but we want to make your first visit to Ahoskie Church a great one! The culture at Ahoskie Church is one that is relaxed, yet focused upon Christ. In each service you will hear a message that is grounded in the truth of the Bible and is practically applied to everyday living. When we come together for worship we do not desire to magnify ourselves or be entertained, but to magnify Christ.

Every person is welcome at Ahoskie Church! We believe that every human being is special and is worthy of dignity and respect. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.

Sunday School

Sunday School is a time of focused Bible study in a small group format. Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, our church has Sunday School classes that you can become involved with. Our Sunday School classes are designed for building relationships and deeply engaging the Word of God. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m. each Sunday morning. First time guests are encouraged to arrive about 10 minutes early so they can connect with their Sunday school teacher and discover their way around.

Worship Services

Our Sunday worship services are not merely religious gatherings. They are designed to be a time when we come together to worship and magnify Jesus Christ, our redeemer. We strive to be Christ-honoring in both the music and the preaching. We promise that each time you visit you will experience an atmosphere of worship that is rooted in the truth of God’s Word. Our worship services meet at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. each Sunday

Children’s Church

Here at Ahoskie Church we believe that it is vital to expose children to the love of Jesus and the truth of His Word. For infant children we have a clean and safe nursery. For children up to age 10 we have Children’s Church. Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn.

Wednesday Night Bible Study

Our Wednesday night Bible studies are always rewarding. It is usually a time of deeper study of the Bible as well as a time of corporate prayer. Children and teenagers also have their own Bible study class as well as activities. Services start at 7 p.m.
