Your First Visit
We understand that visiting a church for the first time can feel intimidating, but we aim to make your first experience at Ahoskie Church welcoming and meaningful. Our church culture is relaxed yet centered on Christ. Every service features a message rooted in the truth of the Bible, designed to be relevant and applicable to daily life. During worship, our goal is not to seek personal recognition or entertainment but to glorify Christ.
Everyone is welcome at Ahoskie Free Will Baptist Church! We believe each person is unique and deserving of dignity and respect. Whether you are a five-year-old child, a ninety-five-year-old grandmother, a busy mother, or a businessman with significant responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our loving and truth-centered church community. Here’s how you can learn, serve, and grow with us.
Small Groups
Small groups are times for focused Bible study in a small-group format. Often, small groups of people are better able to interact with and learn about a topic than larger groups. For that reason, our church offers small-group classes you can get involved in. Our small-group classes are designed to build relationships and deeply engage with the Word of God. Small groups begin at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday morning. First-time guests are encouraged to arrive about 10 minutes early so they can connect with their small-group leader and find their way around.
Worship Services
Our Sunday worship services are not merely religious gatherings. They are designed as times when we come together to worship and magnify Jesus Christ, our Redeemer. We strive to be Christ-honoring in both the music and the preaching. We promise that each time you visit, you will experience an atmosphere of worship that is rooted in the truth of God’s Word. Our worship services meet at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday.
Children’s Church
Here at Ahoskie Church, we believe that it is vital to expose children to the love of Jesus and the truth of His Word. For infant children, we have a clean and safe nursery. For children up to age 12, we have Children’s Church. Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child can participate and learn.
Thursday Night Bible Study
Our Thursday night Bible studies are always rewarding. It is usually a time for deeper Bible study as well as corporate prayer. Children also have their own Bible study class and activities. Bible study starts at 5:30 p.m.
